I like it because... it makes sense to me and its pretty user friendly - i've not struggled finding my way around the settings to change anything

Okay, I've been trying to add my comment! Here we go again! LAUREL-RAIN SNOW'S EXPLORATIONS was my first Word Press blog, and my newest one is
CURL UP AND READ.

I started using Wordpress because I was (and still am) sucky at understanding stuff, and Wordpress's easy installation appealed to me.
Also, Cutenews is outdated and full of security holes, and Vox, the other blogging platform I used, didn't allow...
I have been using WordPress for many years for my self-hosted sites. I love it, using and designing it. I design for clients and a lot end up liking WordPress as well.
