I am a showroom consultant for a bath and kitchen supply company. I work at least forty hours a week and juggle being a mommy and a wife with this full time job as well.

Lazy (not really) Sunday

Today was a cold and rainy day outside. I was thinking as I stood outside in my pajamas at 5:30 this morning that God was probably giggling just a bit that I was trying to potty train a new puppy in the freezing cold, pouring rain! Oscar didn't do as well today simply because he was so cold he found it difficult to do his business outside. I think when he'd get back in and warm back up the urge would hit him and he'd go inside. Today was the big High School Musical birthday party for my daughter, Shelby. She had a great day and celebrated (a bit early) her 5th birthday with family and friends at an awesome place with pizza and games. Our party hostess was great and that's always a plus for me and she got some amazing gifts. Her favorite...a new puppy named Oscar. He's a black and red daschund. Black Friday

I was at home sleeping while crazy people pulled, kicked, scratched, and bit their way to half priced items that they probably didn't really need in the first place! What were you doing?

Do you shop on Black Friday or do you work in retail (UGH!!) and have to fight the crowds with a stick?

Happy Thanksgiving

"Gobble 'till you Wobble" 'cause I'm gonna! :)

I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday. It'll be a busy one for me as we visit my family at lunch and Brien's at dinner. It's hard traveling to two different places but at least they're not that far apart, AND we don't have to clean up the mess...and THAT is what I'm thankful for.

Humpday (same as Friday today!)

Ahhh...I love short work weeks! I am SO looking forward to a four day weekend. I am leaving work sometime today around two and I am gearing up for it already. We've been pretty slow around here all week. I think a lot of people are traveling for the big holiday. I hope that you all have a nice one. I will be spending it with my family on Thursday.
