So I just got back from a weekend in Indy. And I'm pretty darn sure that the three year old in my life did NOT. STOP. TALKING. THE. ENTIRE. TRIP. He just kept going like that dang gone bunny. He is proof positive that three year olds still need naps. Period.
My ears are tired. Does anyone have a sound-proof room I could sleep in for a few days?

Today my parents are celebrating 39 years of marriage. So before we left for our out of town trip, I called them.
Dad answered sounding kind of grumpy. So I handed the little man the phone. I whispered into his ear what he was supposed to say and put on the speaker phone.
"Happy Annabersary Papa!"

I had a long discussion with the boy today. Actually, it wasn't so much a discussion as it was my pounding my head against the wall for opening my mouth in the first place.
We drive around an apartment complex. Don't ask me why. He likes to "peek around" as he puts it. So we were peeking around after school and we spied a family of geese. Some chicks were on the sidewalk, a couple in the grass, and one of the parents was standing on the road.
