Being sick a couple of days got me off scheduled blog entries. I was just too wacked out by all the sniffling and scratchy throat. Then my son got sick and we had to deal with him and his antsy behavior. Too much stimulation and being housebound lead me almost to the brink. Mom with ten kids did not show for her court hearing. All the attorneys were up in arms about the lack of placement for the kids. One of the GALs was talking out of his A** about all kinds of stuff. The county attorney was in a tizzy because the family that generates more chaos than the USA generates in greenhouse gases was not up to the last second aware of what is going on with the most dysfunctional family I have ever had the pleasure (or displeasure) to work with. kids had another school release day. i took the day off. their mother was out of town doing family duty in Texas. Val was busy at work. Court today will be for a 20ish mom who has struggled with men and drugs and homelessness. Her situation is not as dire as it was just 3 months ago, but she still is not ready to care for this 3 year old son. She just agreed to a legal custody transfer of her other child and she is due any day now with number 3.
