I failed to blog yesterday. I was on line late in he evening and I did remember that I need to blog -- but then I dozed off at the computer and decided to call it a night -- In the excitement (?!) of going to bed, I forgot that I had not blogged yet. Well . . . I guess no use continuing in that case!! just kidding!

For dinner we went to Kim Sum - a Vietnamse/Chinese restaurant on the west bank. (We were on the west bank to go to Oakwood) . I had Shrimp-wraooed Sugar Cane -- it was shrimp (ground and refrmed) wrapped around pieces of sugar cane which was then grilled. It was served with rice paper, and fresh vegetable and peanut sause. I would ten make crepe looking things with above, discarding the sugar cane. Good!

The St Charles Streetcar line is supposed to again start operating this Sunday -- although only from CBD to Napoleon Ave. There has been a more than 2 years absence since Hurricane Katrina forced the RTA to suspend the service. When I think about this, I get all choked up!
