By my fingernails . . .

I am near empty--financially, physically, mentally, and emotionally. If I were at bottom, I wouldn’t be typing this. I am writing this at work, which I finally arrived at, at 3:00 PM. Having just read the notification e-mail from the person who oversees NaBloPoMo, I need to find reserves to use to post today.

Well, I’ve been doing jobs for my supervisor or tutoring for almost three hours. Still need to teach, tonight. But, what about the novel, my novel, my challenge?)

Looking ahead:

1. When Katherine checks the closet, she discovers her clothes and the hangers on the floor.

2. Samantha and her daughter have a fight, which leads to the daughter leaving the show.

3. Katherine, as the understudy, takes over.

4. A big party (thematic) takes place at Sandy’s, which Gala and Jamey attend.

5. Randy shows up to cause trouble but is turned away by Sandy and Car, and her scene shop crew.

6. Jamey is cast in a walk-on part because of his physique.

7. Denise shares with Katherine that the box office is getting returned season tickets and “hate mail” because of Ain’t Misbehavin’.

8. Gala continues to learn about and appreciate theatre.

9. Katherine has ongoing dreams about Johann Scapely.

10. Randy, seeking revenge and blaming his troubles on the theatre program, destroys Sandy’s flamingos, and, when Sandy tries to stop him, beats up Sandy.
