Badges and more
Hmm... Well, this is the first year I am trying my hand at this. If it works it will double the amount of my writing as I usually blog about 16-17 days a month. That said, my first hassle is not even the blogging. It is that I can't get the NaBloPoMo badge to work on wordpress. Anyone have any suggestions??

Well, let see... are you using the free version of wordpress? Are you trying to use the badges that you find on the side, the ones that say things like "I'm a member of..."? If you answered Yes to both these questions your answer is: The free wordpress does not support javascript/flashy widgets/badges.
Now, if you're going under the "HTML Badges" from the top of the page and selecting one of the cat badges. Then having issues placing the image on your page and then linking to the site... Well, then the troubleshooting has too many options to answer here.
Good luck with posting - uping my amount of writing is my biggest challenge as well.
