[Almost] Date-Night

Well, Tom and I ALMOST got to go on a date tonight. But the babysitter that Katty had lined up for us backed out 'cause she had to go see her grandma or something.

*sigh*

Oh well, I guess. Granted, we didn't have anything extravagant planned; we'd thought about going to a bookstore and hanging out there for a while and maybe going to a movie at the dollar theater. We didn't NEED anything extravagant, it just would have been nice.

Instead, we ordered some take-out Chinese and we might see about renting a couple movies. That's not so bad.


This past work week was completely bibbledy where the schedule was concerned, but from the looks of things, this upcoming week should be more along the lines of normal. I'm off tonight and tomorrow night, Sunday and Monday will be normal, as will Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, my next day off won't be until next Monday and then Thursday, which is Thanksgiving day.

And this is assuming that nothing on the schedule changes for whatever reasons. So, the soonest that Tom and I will be able to go out will be next Monday. *sigh* I hope.
