Creative Endeavors

Recently, I've tried thinking back to when I was happiest in life. The last time I can remember being happy-happy was as a kid. I use to love to make up stories and tell them to my friends. So I'm gonna try to come up with some stories. The thing is ... I clearly remember getting that energy to create from the fascination I found every time we moved. I come from a long line of military folks so moving every 2 or 3 year was the norm. I am asking myself now, how do I capture that sense of uncertainty and wonder. I've focused so hard on "fitting in" and having a "normal" life. How do I inspire the extraordinary from the ordinary? Ideas anyone?
