Simple Questions, Difficult Answers

What does it take to find a decent guy? Honestly!!! I guess it first helps to know what you are looking for, which is actually pretty hard for me. I know what I don't want, and it pretty much adds up to every other person's list. Okay, I'll stop with the whining cuz I know it is the equivalent of running fingers down a chalkboard. But this brings me to another thing ... people get whiny, life gets difficult. Yet, people are suppose to appear happy and outgoing. Who set that precedent? Is it that people just don't care anymore? Is it that other folks don't think they can take any more dreariness than that which issues from their own life circumstances. Has it always been like that? I mean when did life get so ... blah? Isolated? Is it a cultural issue? I wonder what it would be like to live in, say, France ... in the countryside, perhaps taking care of a vineyard. Or how about joining the kiwis of New Zealand ... can you imagine seeing such beauty every single day!
