Antisocial

I keep forgetting to log into this ning thing. I'm just over at doahleigh posting away everyday, and I forget about this whole social network over here. Except, I think nablopomo has gotten so huge that I don't know how to really use this site anyway. I don't like having to come here and click on each of my friends to see if they've posted anything. I go to their blogs everyday anyway, do I really care if they're writing over here too? I'm pretty sure nobody reads what I write here.

I joined a handful of groups at the beginning, but each group has so many members that it's just overwhelming. I found a few fellow Michigan bloggers, but that's really all the good the groups have done me. Also, the randomizer. I don't know. Last year I met SO MANY awesome new people from cruising through the radomizer, but this year I think it's broken. It brings me to the same blogs over and over again, and usually those blogs are (I'm sorry if it's harsh) poorly done and hard to read.

It doesn't feel as social this year for me, which is surprising because I bet for many this new system is much more social. Last year my traffic soared during November, and with each new commenter, I made a new internet friend. This year I've had a few new commenters, but my numbers aren't much different from other months. Which doesn't matter, but the point is that I had hoped nablopomo would be as fun and social as it was last year.

Still ten days left, maybe I'll change my mind. Or maybe I'll end up writing something very similar to this on doahleigh at the end of the month.
