MY BABY, Caitlin, TURNED 9 TODAY!!!

How did we celebrate??

• Chocolate muffins for breakfast
• Birthday party - 9 other 9 year olds. 2 - 4 pm at our home, of course. We started out playing Candyland and then Uno. Then came the craft - decorating our Webkinz that each of the girls brought with them. We made crowns, necklaces, halos, etc. with mostly ribbon, colorful pipecleaners, beads, sequins. Homemade M & M cookie cake decorated by Caitlin, served with chocolate ice cream..... and of course, cheese doodles. Then... hide and go seek..... pin the tale on the donkey.....play with Caitlin's handmade houses for Webkinz to play in... High School Musical DVD music game....Of course, opening presents... way too many generous gifts.... treat bags for all who came.... pink bags with assorted candy and a glow stick bracelet.
• Dinner was Caitlin's 9 year old choice restaurant... after much discussion, MaMa decided she was not up to going to Chuckie Cheeses.... so her second choice was...yes.... McDonald's. She had a Happy Meal with a cheeseburger.. Mama eats her pickles..french fries... chocolate shake.....
• What a great day!! Oh.... to be 9 years old again!!! Love you, Caitlin....
