Baptism and Confirmation

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd share my news with everyone... I've been taking private tutorials with my local Catholic priest for a few months now, and we've just agreed on the date for my baptism and confirmation! It's all happening on the 25th of November, just in time for me to write something about the experience for NaBloPoMo. It's something I'd wanted to do for awhile, and I'm both nervous and excited about it :)

I actually just joined the Church back on Easter Vigil of 2006 and I received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion. It was AMAZING. So much so that I am helping out teaching RCIA now. I love it so very much. It's curious, though, that you're not joining the Church on Easter Vigil but are instead doing so in November. Is there a particular reason for this? Also, this is neat, because my birthday is November 24th!! :o) Have you decided on a Confirmation name yet?
