It's so much worse than it was last year. I'm glad so many people have joined, but wow, there were 1200 members and just as many guests when I tried to log in yesterday. Today was a little bit better. I did get in to update my word count, but I caught a few "nanoisms" I wanted to post and couldn't.
Kind of sad, but enough NaNo'ers drop out by mid-November, which eases the server loads. Of course, it's not us that's dropping out. It's those other NaNo'ers. ;)

Incredibly.
I tried several times yesterday to get onto the site and it wouldn't load. And the few times it did load, it would crap out trying to get to the forums.
I thought they moved everything to a new server that could handle all the traffic this year? It wasn't even this slow last year!
I remember having tons of trouble the first two weeks last year getting on the site. I have only gone on it twice since the beginning of the month this year. It is usually ok early in the morning or late at night. It should get better as the month goes on, it did last year.
If y'all haven't seen this before, it a graph you can use separate from the site and post on your blog. At least that way you can look at your progress.
