It's an idea or set of questions that's passed from blog to blog. One really common one is telling "7 things about yourself" on your blog, then giving names/blog urls other people you'd like to see answer the questions (called tagging - as in the game "tag, you're it!"). You can see a bunch of popular memes at The Daily Meme. :-)

Pearl Lady was great at explaining it. There are the ones where another blogger "tags" you. They can get annoying after awhile though.

I like to do a weekly meme. Like Wordless Wednesday. If you're handy with a camera, you might enjoy that one. You just post a picture on Wednesdays and link to the Wordless Wednesday homepage. That's it.

I think the trick with the weekly memes is to find one suited to you and that you would enjoy doing. The Daily Meme is a great place to find the right one.
