NaBloPoMo

National Blog Posting Month

Now what?

I just got my email stating that it is the final week for NaBloPoMo. I logged onto the website for the first time in a long while. I am now noticing that I should have copied and pasted my blog post here too.

Now what? Should I just let it go, or should I now copy the month's worth of posts which were originally posted to my blog only?

It's not about the prize. It's more about the game.

There's no reason for you to copy/paste your blog here, too...and there never was unless it's just something you would've wanted to do. Most people blogged only on their sites which was perfectly fine and expected. You can add your RSS feed in your profile to automatically add snippets from your most recent posts with links back to your site, which might suit you better if you want a bit of your blog listed here, too.

I'm in the same boat as you.

I've posted daily and I thought by putting my blog's RSS feed it would pull those into here. I guess I was wrong.

As QuirkyJessi said, there is no reason to copy or paste your blog posts to here. The object was to post everyday for the month of November, whether you do it on your own blog or here. I wouldn't copy my posts over...

That's a relief as I only posted on my website.

I cross-posted onto here, but that was because early on during NaBloPoMo, my host had some downtime and I saw the ability to cross-post here as a method of enabling me to complete the challenge despite those problems.

AFTER I finished uploading all of my nablopomo entries to this site, I figured out how to set up the feed. On my left sidebar (possibly yours too) there is a spot to set up your feed. It's a whole lot easier than copying and pasting all of your entries.
