NaBloPoMo

National Blog Posting Month

Why do you want to come back for more?

Gosh!!! I was so busy i didn't even notice! Six of us already! Way to go!!!
It's nice to know I am not going to be the only turkey left here, (lol)!!!!
So, why do you want to keep blogging on Nablo?
Or do you just want to keep this as a place to meet others?
What more would you expect from Nablo now that it is over?
Has it been difficult, or stressing?
Obviously not, or you wouldn't be joining this group ? Hahaha!
If so, was it worth it?

Since I'm a "newbie" to this Blogging phenomenon and in "learning mode all the time" I figure I'll be blogging daily for a long while yet :)

I managed to keep up with two blogs since I started in late October and am just getting into the swing of things, so I don't want to lose my momentum. I haven't filled out a profile here. Guess I should (but I've given up "shoulding" on myself ... so make that "could") and perhaps I shall when time permits.

For now, if you'd like to get acquainted ... there's specific info in my SideBar and early posts. I look forward to getting acquainted with you who also intend to continue Blogging regularly ... as soon as I figure out how to find your Blogs.
Hugs and blessings,

This was one of the most active groups I have been in. The people were all so friendly. I write a lot, so posting every day is generally easy for me. :-)

I have no social life away from my family right now. So I really enjoy my online friends. I will continue to drop in here as long as the website remains available because I like to keep in touch and see what others are doing. Storyteller, just click on the name of anyone you'd like to visit. Start with groups you have joined, then go exploring in other groups. You can meet a lot of people that way.

I agree! And you get to meet so many different people too! One minute you're in Australia, and the other in Canada or New York!! I'm so glad I did this, you can't imagine!

I'm still struggling to figure out how this Ning site works ... sigh! Sometimes it lets me on ... other times not, but I'm here now :)

I love the photos from Jientje and think it's a great idea for each of us to add pix like this. I added three to my page (I think) last night, but I sense her idea is to have us upload them to the Group Page somehow ... and I haven't a clue how to go about doing so. I'm just relieved to be connected at the moment.

I've only been blogging for about 6 weeks. I've figured out lots about Blogger in that time, but this Ning network seems to work differently. Everything is exceedingly S L O W and frustrating at this point, but hopefully I'll figure it out too. If anyone has any tips for my transition, I'm open to any and all advice.

I did click on the names as Eve suggested (thanks :) and have found some of your Blogs ... responded where I could figure out how to do so. At the moment, differentiating from Ning/non-ning publishing remains foggy ... but I'm working on it all. When I've ventured to other groups, I get hung up with the "log on" issues where I'm not "recognized" when I try to enter my log-in info ... but I'll keep experimenting and eventually will figure things out.
Hugs and blessings,

Yes, you're right it IS very slow, but patience is a good virtue, my mommy used to say!
Now, to upload pictures in the box, click on "edit' in the right hand corner just above the pictures.
A pop up screen should appear, you can add text just the way you would do in a blog post,
and to add a picture you click on the postcard. Another pop-up will appear, click on "browse", and then you can get the pictures from files on your own computer. Choose whatever picture you want, click on it , and then you'll get a sign that your picture is being uploaded. Here comes the patience part, but when it is done, click on "save". It should be more or less this kind of procedure ! Thanks for your comment about my pictures! Looking forward to see yours!
See? It works, I've tried it again for you?
I added another one just to make sure! Oh, and it says "add" instead of "save", but that's the same isn't it?

Yes ... patience IS a virtue :)

Actually things aren't quite so slow today, and your directions made this picture task very simple, so thanks. I think I've got things figured out now (at least for the moment) until the next problem comes up. I uploaded the Rainy Day Collage from my Southern California neighborhood. These pictures appear underneath yours for some reason, but that's fine with me. (Your neighborhood is much more dramatic than mine). I took these photos on November 30th during the first rainfall of 2007. We've had a couple of very dry years so this rain is welcome.
