Hi (once) baldies

Hello.

Deep breath.

So. My name is Jennic. I had Hodgkin's when I was 24. I had just gotten married (in the church) 10 weeks before that. Graduated, got a job, bought a house within the 6 months period leading up to the big friggin event (Nov 2000). Did all the necessary chemo, radiation, installed a port, got 'deported' and kept my port. First person in my extended/immediate family to have cancer of any sort. It was tough. I puked 6 days out of every 14 for six months.

That was then.

Now we have 2 kids ages 2 and 4. We run a online toy store business full time (just launched less than a month ago!!!) Dedicated to donate to cancer charities / children related charities with each and every order that we receive. Life is good.

I have some lasting side effects like minor neuropathy in my hands/fingers and toes. I have been postponing my mammo - since I had mantle field radiation it is recommended that I start the mammo yearly after turning 30.
