Am I the only German blogger in this group who actually lives in Germany? (Which is odd, seeing I'm South African.)

glad you found us :) I haven't had time to write a "Welcome" to the group members, but thanks for starting the discussion board!
It is -indeed!- odd that you seem to be the only one in this group who actually LIVES in Germany right now.

Well, you're the one who has to send out German goodies to all of us then *j/k* :) :)

I'm neither South African nor German, but I lived in Germany for nearly four years in the 1980's.

I live in the United States.

Haha. I'm an actual German citizen (well, dual citizen now) living in California! My mother and grandma and my father and all my "old" friends are in Germany, and I get to see them just about every other year. I just recently got married to a fabulous guy who is excited at the prospect of being able to live in the European Union one day ... go figure!

Leider komme ich nicht aus Deutschland und ich wohne da auch nicht! Aber vor vielen Jahren wohnte ich in München (hab's gehaßt - zuviele Schicki-mickis! Igitt!) und dann noch in Berlin (eine geile Stadt!).

Yeah, I'm an American living in Chicago. I did a foreign study in Germany while I was in college, at the Universtat von Munster. My German is truly regrettable at this point. Sigh. No time like the present to work on it, though!

I am not German--persay, though I think that I have some German ancestry--but I do live in Germany. My speaking skills are poor, but I can get along. My husband has been stationed here for over 5 years now.
