Is food creative?

If you know me and/or my blog, you know I'm going to say, absolutely! to this question. But am I alone? Do you feel that cooking and baking are creative? Isn't how we eat an artform?

I don't like to bake too much, since you have to wait an hour or so to taste the results... but cooking??? MMMMMMmmm... always fun! I love to take an ingredient I have laying around, that I don't know what to do with... and make a creative soup! Mayhaps I will make a soup this weekend... *pondering that* I'd like to make the one from your blog, but I'd have to actually leave my house, go to the store, and buy some italian sausage... and who has that much motivation???? LOL Not me. I'll grab some next time I do my twice-a-month shopping ritual.
