i'll have a go, as long as i can have a day off in the middle of the month... i'm getting married :P i think i can manage a post that day, but a recipe? might just be a miracle!
How about 30 original recipes? Sort of like Marathon Iron Chef. Give yourself 10 minutes to shop in your favorite supermarket. Grab stuff. Then, using what you have in your pantry prepare a meal. Yeah, you might end up with cat food alfredo but, hey, it's a recipe!
Yeah, I know it's cheating 'cause that's how I cook anyway, by the skin of my grapes. Trying to write down what I do would be a challenge!
You realize we could probably produce a decent cookbook in a month, especially if we did something like Starters Monday, Soup Tuesday, Salad Wednesday, Vegie Thursday, Main Course Friday, Drinks Saturday and Dessert Sunday. For example. Four recipes in each category times X contributors. Wowzer!
I don't know if I can do 30 in 30 day even though I blog about food! I am often taken to task by some of my readers for 'cheating' and writing non-food posts. :-D I write about food and family. Yup! Kraft stole my tagline!
I can do 30 food posts, but I don't think I can do 30 posts with recipes. Yesterday's post has no recipe and I'm not cooking Thanksgiving. (Does it count if I did 2 recipes on the 1st? The idea of doing Iron Chef makes me shiver to the bottom of my type A, recipe following boots. But I'd love to poke around and see what you all come up with!
The first day of Nablopamo, I read this post and was secretly striving for it. But alas, the last two days haven't been cooking days. Well, that and there was a few recipes that I didn't make on the day I posted it. So maybe that was cheating.
