National Blog Posting Month

I've gotten horrible at actually getting out and taking pictures. It's even worse now that the night comes on early and by now I leave for work in the dark and get home in the dark.

Gimme some ideas, some homework if you will that would make me feel obliged to shoot something. My 20d is wasting away and hating me because I never use it anymore. I don't think I've pulled my flash card out of the reader in over a month...

I don't have any studio equipment, I have my camera and a few lens (18-55 kit, 50 2.8, 70-300 macro sigma)

So let's them suggestions!

OK, grab you tripod and show me some sweet long exposures of traffic flowing by :)

Or some interesting buildings in your hood.

Or a tree under the street lamp with a bench in front.

Get out, once you start again, you will feel better and the flow will come :)

I had a three month break due to the heat over here.
Not that I'm producing anything fantastic right now, but the fun's back :)

Use themes and challenge yourself to shoot only one type of image all day. Shoot it in and around your office. Examples: only objects that are textured, only objects that are green or only objects that are no higher than three feet off the ground.

Once you get started you'll be amazed at how many themes you can come up with and how it will recharge you.

Have fun!
