Do you blog while at work?

I do. I'm sitting here in front of a computer anyway. I mostly write on my breaks and lunches, which kind of sounds pathetic. Yes, I'm very pale and my ass is the size of Rhode Island.

I rarely blog at home anymore because I just can't bring myself to sit down in front of the computer after doing that at work all day. I'd much rather sit down in front of the TV with the TiVo remote in my hand. Did I mention the Rhode Island size ass already?

I'm with you - I typically blog first thing in the morning (between 7am-8am) when I'm not going to get any work done anyway. Then during lunch I surf the blogs that have updated.

And the last thing I want to do is sit in front of a computer when I get home!

Yup, same here. I wish I got paid to blog, like some people I know! However, I blog during work to distract me from the actual work I have to do, but don't want to do. =]

My job is pretty boring so I pretty much surf the internet and attempt to post a blog throughout the day. Sitting in front of my computer is the last thing I want to do when I get home.

I don't think I could have said it any better. I've got a baby at home, so my time at work is about the only time I have to do anything computer-related.

Holy heck do I! Yes, I blog from work. I have two small kids at home and its too hard to get much blogging done while they are awake. And when they are asleep I want to be asleep too. Blogging from work also really helps with the whole I-need-to-post-at-least-once-a-day thing.

Gosh, I can't believe I'm admitting to this, but yes. And if they find out about this here at Space Cadet Central, I'm fired ... heh.

Hey, if you don't mention any names I think you'll be okay.

I am tempted, but my company has a policy about this - they threaten legal action if you post online from a company IP address. Maybe I'll start blogging via email?? Oh no, not another reason for me to be less productive! Those TPS reports are brutal!

In the interest of remaining employed then, I guess we'll all remain happily anonymous and not disclose who we work for. Don't ask, don't tell!

My job isn't that thrilling anyway :-)

I tend to start blogs while at work, and then finish writing at home. I do, however, read all my favorite blogs all day long. I love my job, but I'm bored with it. Reading and writing blogs between projects keeps me from going insane. :)

Yes, it would be terrible if our bosses found out about our secret blogging behaviour. Then again, if they are here, maybe they have some secrets of their own. :)

I am at work now!!

Please. Pretty much the only thing I do at work is blog or read Perez Hilton.

Work. What an overrated concept.

This is the perfect group for me! My hosting server is down for the moment, so I can't blog. I am trying to think of a work-related project I could be doing while I wait for my site to come back up. Drawing a blank...

I just want to say that I'm really glad to know I'm not the only one who surfs the 'net for the majority of the work day. Yes, I do work tasks as they come in, but what am I supposed to do in my down time (which there is a lot of)? It's good to have found you all!

I just think of it as us being more efficient at actually doing our work than the others! I do all my work AND have time to surf the net :)

I couldn't possibly agree more! And I'm totally stealing that excuse, next time someone gives me crap for blogging at work!

me too!! i have maybe 2 full hours worth of *actual* work during the 8 hours i have to be at work, and i'm bored to tears most of the time! lately i've started working on my blog during that time, for lack of anything else to do. the blog (for the bar my husband and i co-own) is infinitely more fun to work on than my real job, anyway. and what else am i supposed to do, if they can't keep me busy??
