Introduce Yourself!

I'll go first...

I'm tiff, born and raised in Michigan, suburbs of Detroit. I currently work downtown in the RenCen and I'm loving it. I don't think I can work anywhere else.

I'm trying to get more involved in city initiatives like the Motor City Makeover and volunteering at events. I kinda think Detroit is like my baby brother. No one can make fun of him but me!

I'm excited to start the NaBloPoMo because I missed out on it next year. Here's hoping I don't resort to one word posts just to meet the requirements!

Hey Tiff, thanks for starting this group!

I was born and raised in Detroit (east side). We moved to the suburbs when I was 15. Now I live in Auburn Hills and work in Pontiac.

I participated in NaBloPoMo last year and had a blast reading all the new blogs.

I'm an old first time Mom. I've started dabbling in photography after my son was born, now I'm hooked. I'm really looking forward to reading everyone's blogs.

I'm Jazmyn. living in redford. raised in Wyandotte. trying NaBloPoMo for the first time officially. (i tried it last year but didn't really "announce" it or join anything just wanted to see if I could do it.

Anyway, I'm excited to see this group here and excited to read others blogs. I just hope mine doesn't turn out too boring lol.

Hey, all!

I'm a new blogger - just started my blog in October, so posting every day will be a real challenge for me.

I was born and raised in Metro Detroit, and currently live in Southfield with my hubby and our 2 parrots. I work downtown Detroit, near Campus Martius Park, although I'm part of my company's services staff division, so I can be sent to client sites all over the metro area. In addition to the day job, I have a home business selling kitchen tools ("Spoiled Cook", rhymes with "Hampered Jeff" - we're not supposed to advertise online so I have to disguise the name like that), which is a total blast because I get to meet all sorts of great folks.

What would the other "downtownies" say to meeting for lunch one day?

Having the downtown folks meet up for lunch one day might be a blast. Tuesdays are absolutely out for me, as are most Fridays through the end of the year (love that saved up vacation time). But if we can plan something for a day I am free, I am all over it!

I live in Allen Park and work in Dearborn (6 miles from home - love it!). I was also born and raised in Michigan. It sucks (and continues to get worse), but I can't ever imagine leaving.
