Blog redesign for NAMLOPOMO

Is anyone going to do a blog redesign for November, or is that just going a bit too far. I'm thinking of it, but I don't want to appear to be pandering or anything. I'm so freaking indecisive.

Yes, I'm redesigning. It's not just for NaBloPoMo ... it'll likely stick around for a while after November, too!

I redesign every month. This month we're actually Pink for October to support my Mom who was just diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.

Sorry to hear about Jenna's mom too. I was going to go pink for October, but just couldn't get it together in time, but will be sporting a new look for Nov. I hope. Wish me luck

Really? Redesign our blogs? I didn't know about that tradition. What kind of redesign? I'm really good at switching templates, but other than that... LOL

Nah, I'm not going to redesign....it'll take away from the time that I should be thinking of at least 30 blog topics and possibly starting to write some of them up....and I'm gonna be doing enough procrastinating by following everyone else's blogs as it is! I 'will' be changing my colors back to something more pleasing to the eyes, though.....currently I have it hot pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. <3

I don't see anything wrong with you switching yours up, though. It'll give you sort of an excuse to have a fresh look...especially if you've had this look for a while and are want something different to look.

I am thinking about doing something different. I'm still pretty new to WP so it'll take a bit of work and I already have a lot on my plate. If I can find something I'd like to build an idea around, maybe I can con my husband into doing it for me!

I was thinking of a new header (? masthead? banner? title thing?) and this was just the motivation I needed, straighten things up a bit before company comes over. I use a Blogger template, but add in my own photoshopped picture.

I am going to add all those widgets I keep meaning to. Like the one for flickr and mylibrary and maybe beef up my link list to include those i already visit. I'm not redoing the template because I just did about a month ago and I'm happy with it for now.

My blog template is not particularly customisable, so I'll stick with the design I've got. Though it does have to be said the big NaBloPoMo badge on my entry post does spruce the place up a fair bit!

i've had the same blog "design" for a while now and i just switch out the colors monthly. i think i'm going to stick with the same thing during november, though i'll slap up a nablopomo badge as well (or at least a link)
