So much for Plans, eh. Shortly after I signed up for this year's NaBloPoMo, my mother was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. She's supposed to begin treatment this week. Two weeks from now, she'll be through the worst of it and past the point of greatest risk... or she'll be gone.

I briefly went over some of your archives (I'm not a fast reader..). I'm very sorry about your mother's diagnose. I didn't happen to come across updates about her - how is she doing? If you don't mind me prying.
You might be aware already, our toy store donates a portion of all sales at all times to LLS and or other (children related) charities. Giving is our motto, and I wish to live to see the day when there are no more cancers. We hope others will help us and join us, by purchasing / telling friends and families about our store, by demanding our government to do more and spend more in research and clinical trials, and by raising awareness.
