Patrick had a rough morning. He's sick, but not sick enough to stay home (and not sick enough to make me miss a day of work when I don't have any vacation, sick or personal time left). I dropped him off at daycare -- late -- both of us near tears. Some days I'm tough. And some days it's just hard.
